School Savings

School savings clubs offer the opportunity for pupils to save money each week at school, with a savings club run by volunteers and pupils.

All resources and full training will be provided, and we will continue to support the school with the savings club and with additional money skills sessions, as required.

Every child will have their own Bridgend Lifesavers Credit Union account and receive a paying-in book and piggy bank.

By combining financial education, family engagement and promoting partnership working within the community we aim to help teach children from an early age the value of saving while learning valuable money management and life skills.
